Deepening Overseas Market Layout | Huadong Signed Vietnam GDT PM2 Project

        At the beginning of the new year in 2026, Jiangsu Huadong Paper Machinery and Vietnam GDT Group officially signed a supply contract for the GDT Ninh Binh 6600 mm/1100 m/min 3-PLY 1255 TPD paper machine project. Both PM1 and PM2 production lines of GDT Group have chosen Huadong as the general contractor for the paper machine section. The consistent choice of customers in consecutive projects reflects their full trust and recognition of Huadong 's technical solutions, engineering capabilities, and project execution level, as well as the long-term recognition of Huadong 's comprehensive strength in the field of large-scale high-speed paper machines in overseas markets.

       The PM2 paper machine has a width of 6600mm and adopts a triple layered mesh and double shoe pressing configuration. It mainly produces corrugated paper and box board paper. The working speed of the paper machine is 1100 m/min, and the design speed is 1200 m/min. The project is equipped with ConstaPress® double shoe press system, independently developed by Huadong and UniFlex ®  Sizer film Film Sizer ensures uniform glue application and significantly improves paper strength while achieving efficient dehydration, effectively supporting customers to achieve stable operation and continuous optimization of comprehensive costs while ensuring product quality. After the production of PM1 and PM2, Huadong will assist GDT Group in becoming the first paper-making enterprise in northern Vietnam with an annual production capacity exceeding 1 million tons, injecting vitality into Vietnam's green packaging industry chain and promoting regional economic prosperity and development. Vietnam is becoming an important market for sustained investment in global manufacturing and packaging industries.
